ABOUT ME
G. Deon Thompson is a qualified attorney-at-law in The Bahamas who has also been called to the Bar of England and Wales and is a member of The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.
This book represents his first foray into non-fiction.
Born in the small island nation of The Bahamas in 1967, Mr. Thompson was nurtured by parents who he came to emulate after his early years of education. Besides the impressive fact that both live as devote Christians; his father became a successful entrepreneur, and his mother established her own law practice..
Although Mr Thompson studied pre-law and psychology at University, he turned to his entrepreneurial spirit by pursuing and becoming President of a family operated business until he finally settled on owning and operating his own business in the entertainment and tourism sector.
After some years Mr Thompson decided on a change in career paths to study law in the UK where upon completion he then found interest to work in the field of Wealth Management.
Mr Thompson was happy to meet his future wife whiles working in Brazil. They dated for 2 ½ years and married in the spring of 2014.
Mr Thompson is currently involved as partner in the development of various business ventures.
As a dedicated and loving husband to Ana Paula Thompson, Deon, as he prefers to be called, lives an active life indoors and out. He enjoys weight lifting, running, reading, writing, engaging conversation and hopes to further his interest in Krav Maga.
He is a faithful member of Bahamas Faith Ministries and endeavours to support homeless shelters in Sao Paulo Brazil.
